Man Jumps in Front of Oncoming Train

A man jumped in front of an oncoming Amtrak train in an apparent suicide.

The incident happened near 900 West Sedley in North Philadelphia around 12 p.m.

Service on the SEPTA Trenton line was resumed after previously being suspended. The line was experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes.

The victim is described as a black male between his late 30s and 40s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
