A fire broke out Thursday afternoon in a building that houses apartments and a hair braiding salon leaving at least one person hurt.
The fire began shortly after 1 at 10th Street and Olney Avenue in the Olney section of North Philadelphia.
Philadelphia firefighters said one person was hurt in the blaze at the property that houses Princess African Hair Braiding. Firefighters said that they experienced heavy flames on the first floor.
As SkyForce10 hovered overhead you could see thick smoke pouring from the upper floors of the building as well
No word yet on what caused the blaze.
