Employee Shot in N. Philly Corner Store

An employee was shot Monday night during an apparent botched robbery at a North Philadelphia corner store.

A 56-year-old man was shot once in the shoulder inside a corner grocery at 2000 N Gratz Street, according to Philadelphia Police.

The man was taken by car to Temple Hospital were he was in stable condition Monday night.

No word yet on the alleged suspect(s).

It was unclear what, if anything, was taken from the store.
