Men Shot, 1 Killed Outside NJ Auto Parts Store

Suspect arrested, charged with murder

A Camden man was arrested after an argument allegedly led him to shoot two men, killing one, outside a Camden County auto parts shop Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting happened around 4:15 p.m. at the Advanced Auto Parts on Mt. Ephraim Avenue in Woodlynne, N.J.

Angel Velasquez, 35, of Camden was shot in the head and died.

Velasquez, 24-year-old Alonzo Centeno of Camden and an unidentified 27-year-old man got into an argument in the parking lot of the store, Camden County Prosecutors said.

The 27-year-old was able to run to a local barber shop where he collapsed. He remained hospitalized Wednesday, authorities said.

The alleged shooter got away but was later caught.

Later Tuesday, Centeno was arrested and charged with murder. He was being held on $1 million bail, prosecutors said.
