Police Shoot Man in Kensington

No officers hurt during clash

Philly police confirmed Wednesday night that they had shot a man at the corner of B and Ontario Streets in the Kensington section of the city.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. after police responded to a man with a gun call, cops said.

Police opened fire after the man pulled a gun on them. No officers were hurt in the altercation.

The 25-year-old shooting victim was taken to Temple Hospital in critical condition.

No word on what events led to the shooting.
