I'm That Baby's Daddy: Priest

Father David Dueppen wants custody of his baby from a stripper

The Archdiocese of Miami is becoming a recurring episode of The Jerry Springer Show. All that's missing is a little pew-tossing and a big security guard named Steve.

In the latest episode, Father David Dueppen has admitted to fathering a child with a stripper while he was blessing parishioners in a Miami church.

The news comes a couple of weeks after the stripper, Beatrice Hernandez, held a public confessional revealing that Father Dueppen was in love with a stripper for many years, but had got a little out of hand with his sexual demands.

Dueppen and Hernandez are now admittedly the parents of a 9-month-old daughter.

But Dueppen doesn't want to be a dead-beat father - in the parental sense, not the spiritual sense. He's already kind of failed that calling.

Dueppen wants to have majority custody of the baby and wants the child to have his last name. That's not happening, says Hernandez, who wants a restraining order against Dueppen to protect her and the couple's daughter.

The Archdiocese has not chimed in on the outed affair, but Dueppen might want to have Alberto Cutie and the Episcopalians on speed dial. He could be looking for a new job soon.

More on the custody battle on the next Jerry Springer.
