Teen Recants Abduction, Sex Assault Story

Philly police dropped the abduction and sex assault case of a Frankford teen after the 15-year-old girl recanted her story.

The teen initially told police she was abducted and sexually assaulted by a man who forced her into his  car outside a Frankford McDonald’s Monday afternoon, Philadelphia Police said.

She claimed she was blindfolded and sexually assaulted and then dropped back off in the same area a few hours later.

The next morning, police said the teen had recanted her story and that no charges would be filed against her.
