Naked Suspect Flees Rape, Bloody Assault Scene

A naked man ran off after violently assaulting a mother and sexually assaulting her young teenage daughter inside their Frankford home early Tuesday, said Philadelphia Police.

Officers responded to the bloody scene in a home along Pratt Street in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood around 12:30 a.m., said Police.

The girl told police she was able to run from the home and summon a neighbor who called 911.

Officers climbed onto the roof of an adjacent home to see a semiconscious woman in a pool of blood on the 2nd floor of the home – she appeared to have been beaten on her head and face. Police had to use a SWAT team to enter the house and medics rushed the woman to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.

The woman’s daughter told investigators she was raped by the same attacker, said police.

The suspected attacker, who police later identified as Malik Bailey, 39, fled the home naked, said investigators. He remained at large as of midday. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call the Special Victims Unit at 215-685-3251/52 or 911.
