Firefighters rushed to a busy intersection today for a possible rescue.

Emergency crews responded to the Schuylkill River JFK Boulevard near 30th Street -- that’s not far from 30th Street Station -- a little before 1 p.m. Monday.

It wasn’t clear if the report was founded.

Two fire trucks could be seen on the JFK bridge above where it goes over the Schuylkill River Path blocking a lane of traffic in each direction.
