Delaware Toddler, Mother Found

Boy unharmed, reunited with father

The three-year-old toddler who police say was kidnapped from the 500 block of 6th Avenue in New Castle County early Tuesday morning was found.

The boy and his mother, who was also missing, were located near a home on the 700 block of E 5th Street in Wilmington, Del. around noon.

Delaware Police issued an amber alert Tuesday morning after Brian Kenney and his mother, Ashlie Stumbers, 24, were taken from his father's home in the Murray Manor Trailer Park in Stanton, Del.

Brian's 24 year-old father reported the pair missing after he was allegedly beaten by the butt of a gun. He was found with multiple facial injuries.

Three gunmen may be involved in the abduction.

Police say the boy's father believes Stumbers was involved in the kidnapping. She was questioned by police and released but that doesn't mean that she is off the hook, police said.
