Dad Arrested After Abducting Son: Police

A Delaware father who allegedly abducted his own son following a home invasion turned himself in to police on Monday, according to investigators.

On Sunday, around 7:40 a.m., police say 22-year-old Kyron Graham forced his way into the home of a 21-year-old woman on the 200 block of W. Loockerman Street in Dover.

Graham allegedly choked the woman, who police say is the mother of their 2-year-old child, Zyron Johnson-Graham. Police say Graham told the woman she would "not see their child again." He then allegedly abducted Zyron and fled the home.

State Police issued an Amber Alert, stating that the child was in "imminent danger."

Around 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, police announced that the Amber Alert had been canceled and that the boy was found safe. Police say Graham had dropped his son off at a relative's home. The boy was returned to his mother, unharmed.

Police obtained warrants for Kyron Graham's arrest. On Monday, Graham turned himself in, according to investigators.

Graham was committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional facility in default of $58,000 cash bond.
