Man Arrested for Allegedly Groping Women in Center City

An unknown assailant allegedly groped four young women near Jefferson Hospital Monday night.

He preyed on Hispanic woman on the street -- grabbing their buttocks and/or idecently assaulting the women, said Philadelphia Police.

The women are all somehow associated with Jefferson, police said.

The attacks happened at 9th and Locust and 10th and Walnut between 8 and 8:30, police said.

Police nabbed the suspect on 1200 block of Arch Street and took him into custody but were unable to immediately identify him since he had no ID on him at the time of the arrest.

He was identified by four victims and could face multiple counts of indecent assault and related charges. But as of late Monday night no charges were filed.
