Rescuers Tend to Cat After House Catches Fire

Crews could be seen tending to a cat rescued from a Philadelphia house fire Monday morning.

SkyForce10 captured the dramatic moments as Philadelphia police officers and firefighters tended to the feline after it was plucked from a home along Newkirk Street near W Lehigh Avenue in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood around 5:45 a.m.

Crews tended to the cat and appeared to be petting the animal as it moved about after the fire.

No people were hurt in the blaze.

No word on what caused the fire.
