Carbon Monoxide Leak Forces Folks From Delaware Retirement Home

A gas leak at a Delaware retirement community Friday morning left at least one person sickened and left some elderly people speading the day outside.

The carbon monoxide leak forced dozens of residents from their homes inside Cokesbury Village along Loveville Road in Hockessin, New Castle County around 10:30 a.m.

At least one person fell ill, said county dispatchers. No word yet if that person is a worker or a resident.

As SkyForce10 hovered overhead, you could see residents gathered outside the high-rise sitting on chairs in the shade.

Crews worked to find out the cause of the leak.
