A cab crashed through the front of a sneaker store in Roxborough on Thursday afternoon, injuring a pedestrian.
Witnesses say the cab was turning from Leverington Avenue onto Ridge Avenue when the pedestrian got in the way. The taxi driver told NBC10 he swerved. The cab slammed into the store in the 6200 block of Ridge Avenue. No one inside was hurt.
"We were just stunned," one witness said.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. The pedestrian was taken to Temple University Hospital and his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, according to police.
Licenses and Inspections also came out to the accident scene and said it is not structurally damaged.
