Sicklerville, N.J.’s Jordan Burroughs lived up to his Twitter handle (@alliseeisgold) Friday when he won gold in Men’s Freestyle 74-Kilogram (163-Pound) Wrestling at the London Olympics.

Burroughs, 24, beat Iran’s Sadegh Saeed Goudarzi in the final 1-0, 1-0 to take home the decision 3-0 on classification points.

Goudarzi, 25, sought revenge against Burroughs after the New Jersey native beat him in last year’s world championship final.

But Burroughs was once again too much for Goudarzi taking down the Iranian in each round to earn the victory and the gold medal.

Burroughs entered the London Games riding an impressive undefeated streak that dated back a few years and he was confident he could continue his winning ways. He kept the unbeaten streak alive by beating Puerto Rico’s Francisco Daniel Soler Tanco, Canada’s Matthew Judah Gentry and former world champion Denis Tsargush of Russia before taking down Goudarzi.

Burroughs had a huge smile to accompany a cut above his left eye as he took the podium to receive his gold.

Goudarzi earned gold while Tsargush and Uzbekistan's Soslan Tigiev took home bronze.
