Bensalem Manhunt Ends With Suspect In Custody

A Bucks County manhunt ended Monday afternoon with a suspect in State Police custody.

It all started Monday morning when Pennsylvania State Police went to investigate the report of car break-ins at the Park and Ride at State and Street Roads in Bensalem, Pa.

Raymond Doman, allegedly tried to run down a trooper while fleeing the scene. Police opened fire on Doman but the suspect managed to get away without being hit. Luckily no troopers were seriously injured.

Police later recovered the stolen car was the 39-year-old Philadelphia man was driving about half a mile away but he was nowhere to be found having fled on foot.

Troopers later found Doman a bit bruised and cut in nearby woods.

Chopper 10 was on the scene as Doman was taken into State Police barracks in Trevose, Pa. Monday afternoon.

Doman is no stranger to police, according to sources. He was being investigated for similar Bucks County incidents and even allegedly punching a retired cop last week.

Doman was charged with various charges including assault on a police officer.
