A sickening odor at the Empire Beauty School in Center City, Philadelphia prompted a call to 911 after several people complained of feeling light-headed.
Rescue and hazardous materials crews were at the school, located at 1522 Chesnut Street, right after 1 p.m.
Crews were monitoring and treating people at the scene. No one was evacuated.
According to initial reports, the odor was confined to one classroom and students were relocated to other parts of the building.
