4 People Stabbed at Center City Bar

Fight breaks out inside packed Arch Street bar, cops say

An apparent bar fight left four people stabbed early Tuesday in Center City.

It all happened around 1:30 a.m. inside a packed Big Bang’s Bar & Grill on the 1400 block of Arch Street, according to Philadelphia Police.

One person was stabbed in the hand while the other three were stabbed in the back, police said.

All four people stabbed were in stable condition at area hospitals, cops said.

No immediate arrests were made. Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey said it was unclear if some of the people stabbed were just victims or if they also could have been involved in the stabbings.

Ramsey described the incident as “some nonsense.” And, “nothing worth stabbing anybody over.”
