Eagles running back Brian Westbrook left Sunday’s game in San Diego with a concussion after he was kocked out in the second half.

B-West had missed the previous two games after suffering a concussion in Week 7 against the Redskins. He also had battled ankle problems throughout the season as he struggled to get onto the field.

"In these types of situations, football is secondary," coach Andy Reid said. "You've got to look at this kid and for his future, and make sure everything's OK for him before he gets back out there."

Westbrook only carried the ball six times for 28 yards and caught two balls for 26 yards in the game.

The biggest concern for the Birds should now be B-West's long-term health amidst these concussions.
