AC Boardwalk Collapses, 2 Hurt

May 10, 2012: A portion of the Atlantic City boardwalk collapsed at Grammercy Place. Two people were hurt.

The view from Chopper 10 shows a partial collapse of the Atlantic City boardwalk.

Atlantic City Police tell NBC10 that they were notified just before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday by someone passing by Grammercy Place and the boardwalk.

Two men were hurt and transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The Atlantic City Engineers Office has secured safety fencing near the scene of the collapse.
