AMBER ALERT: Mom, Kids Found Safe After Threat to Drive Off Delaware Bridge

Police in Maryland issued an Amber Alert after a mother threatened to drive off a Delaware Bridge with her two children in the car.

About six hours later, Delaware State Police canceled the alert after finding the mother and her children safe in Delaware.

The boyfriend of 27-year-old Tiamarie Valenzuela said she threatened to drive off the Delaware Bridge with her 2-year-old son and 1-year-old girl when she left his Odenton, Maryland home following an argument shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Anne Arundel County Police said.

Police said Valenzuela keyed her boyfriend's car before driving off.

The Amber Alert warning later spread to Delaware, where police said that Valenzuela and her children could be in the Newark area.

Police said that Valenzuela and her children were OK when they were found at an undisclosed spot in Delaware.

Police took Valenzuela into custody but didn't announce if she would face any charges.
