A 4-year-old boy was struck by what police believe could be a limo service car in the Frankford section of Philadelphia Friday morning.

The driver of the car immediately fled the scene, leaving the child severely injured.

The hit-and-run accident happened at about 8:20 a.m. at the corner of Darrah and Pratt Streets while the child was walking with his father.

The father, son and two other siblings were walking from home across Pratt to hop in a car bound for school and daycare, police said.

The boy was brought to St. Christopher’s Hospital with a broken jaw and nose. His condition wasn't immediately known.

Police say the car that hit the child was possibly a limo or car service's 2004 silver Lincoln Town car with yellow writing on the side.

Video caught the car speeding away from the crash down Pratt Street.

Police say the first two letters of the license plate were possibly "LM." The car has tinted rear and passenger windows.
