Get in on the Fun as the Flyers Return to the Ice

The Eagles arenโ€™t the only team in town to open up training camp practices to the general public.

The Eastern Conference Champion Flyers open training camp Friday as 65 players take to the ice. And, the team is blowing it up this weekend to bring fans back to the Orange and Black.

Training camp is held at Flyers Skate Zone on Laurel Oak Road in Voorhees, N.J.

On Friday afternoon the Fly Guys will unveil their new road jersey with a special ceremony at 3. Free public skating will follow the unveiling.

The fun continues through the weekend. Saturday and Sunday practices go from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

But the action will also be happening off the ice. On Saturday at 1 p.m. the Flyers will hold open tryouts for the 2010-11 Flyers Ice Team. On Sunday at 2 p.m. fans can get close to their favorite players at a live taping of Comcast SportsNetโ€™s Meet the Flyers.

Practices run almost daily for the next couple weeks.
