Cardinals Interested in Kolb: Report

The Eagles have two pretty good quarterbacks on the roster.

That probably won't last long.

One of the league's premier receivers, Larry Fitzgerald, wants Kolb to come to his team, ESPN reported.

Analyst Adam Schefter said that the Cardinals have looked to their Pro Bowl wideout to make personnel decisions in the past. According to Schefter, Kolb would is Fitzgerald's top pick for the new Cardinals quarterback.

Arizona has struggled to replace Kurt Warner, who retired last season after sustaining a number of concussions. With the departures of Warner and Anquan Boldin, the Cardinals' offense could not find its stride this year.

Kolb has asked the Eagles to either reannoint him the starter or trade him away.

“I love it here, as everybody knows,” Kolb said after the Eagles playoff loss to the Packers.  “My family’s settled in here. I would love to be starting here. But I want to be starting somewhere.”
