A beer garden is set to come to a parcel of land adjacent to Independence Mall. Called Independence Beer Garden, it's set to open July 4 (which makes total sense.)
Michael Schulson, the chef behind Sampan on 13th Street, is opening the place and it's being designed by Groundswell Design Group, a landscape architecture firm that designed Talula's Garden, Morgan's Pier and the 2011 Philadelphia International Flower Show. Read more about this story on PBJ.com.
