Hockey’s back!
And, NBC10 is marking the end of the NHL Lockout and start of the season by hosting a Flyers special just before the Orange and Black take the ice for the first time this season.
Tune in to NBC10 Saturday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. for NBC10’s “Finally Flyered Up” hour-long special followed by the season opener as the Fly Guys host their cross state rival Pittsburgh Penguins at the Wells Fargo Center.
NBC10’s sports guys John Clark and Vai Sikahema will be live in the arena and Jillian Mele will be with Flyers fans at XFINITY Live! Some of the stories include a look at Scott Hartnell’s “Lockout Beard,” an exclusive look at Ilya Bryzgalov’s new goalie mask, a look at the Schenn Brothers now playing in the City of Brotherly Love, the story of a soldier who has keeps the Flyers with him and much more.
