Plenty of Chances to Get “Flyered Up”

Flyers hold a week's worth of free practices & events to get fans "Flyered Up" for the season

The Philadelphia Flyers are gearing up for their home opener Saturday against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Wells Fargo Center. The game airs on NBC at 3 p.m. Tune into the NBC10 Presents “Finally Flyered Up” pre-game show that will air at 2 p.m. and the post-game show “Flyered Up,” starting at 6 p.m.  (or whenever the game ends).

The Flyers will be on the ice all week at Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, N.J as the team prepares for their home opener. All practices are open to the public.

The Orange and Black will thank their fans with a free open practice at the Wells Fargo Center Thursday at 6 p.m. The event is free, but tickets are required. The team says that free tickets to the event are sold but you can still watch it live on the Flyers website.

Speaking of tickets, seats for all home games at the Wells Fargo Center went on sale Tuesday.

Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. – Flyers school assembly program and pep rally for students at Adair Elementary, 1300 E. Palmer St. in Philadelphia.

Thursday at 12:15 p.m. – The Flyers Street Team will “Flyers Up” the lunchtime crowd at the Reading Terminal Market.

Thursday at 6 p.m. – Open practice at the Wells Fargo Center

Friday at 8 p.m. – XFINITY Live! Philadelphia will host the WMMR Puck Drop Party from 8 p.m. to midnight featuring a live band and drink specials for fans wearing orange and black.

Saturday at 3 p.m. – The Flyers take the ice against the Penguins.
