NBC10 reporter Matt DeLucia summed it up perfectly the morning after the Flyers dropped their Stanley Cup Playoff opener to the Washington Capitals.

“What we need now is a pep rally,” Matt said.

Ask, and you shall receive as the Flyers Ice Girls and some Orange and Black alumni take part in 97.5 The Fanatic’s Flyers Playoff Pep Rally at noon Friday at 1 Bala Plaza along St. Asaphs Road in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.

The event will feature freebies and every fan that stops by will get a shot at winning a pair of Flyers playoff tickets, said the Fanatic.

The Flyers look to avenge their Game 1 2-0 loss to the Capitals when the teams skate again in D.C. Saturday night. The game will be aired live on CSNPhilly at 7 p.m.
