Bruce Springsteen is launching his book tour in the New Jersey town where he grew up.
Springsteen will celebrate Tuesday's launch of his autobiography "Born to Run" at the Barnes & Noble in Freehold. Tickets are sold out.
Fans will get a signed copy of the book.
In the book, Springsteen remembers his childhood in New Jersey, his rise to superstardom and personal struggles that inspired songs such as "Born to Run" and "Thunder Road."
On Thursday, Springsteen's book tour will make a stop in Philadelphia at the Free Library of Philadelphia at Logan Square from noon to 2 p.m. The Philly event sold out in just nine minutes.
