Blake Shelton, a coach on NBC's "The Voice," will play A.C. for free this summer.

Fans quickly snapped up 60,000 free tickets to two concerts that will take place on the Atlantic City beach this summer.

Blake Shelton is scheduled to perform on July 31 and Lady Antebellum will take to the oceanfront stage on Aug. 3.

The tickets were given away by Ticketmaster on Sunday and Wednesday. Each person was allowed one pair.

Just as quickly, the tickets appeared online for sale.

Atlantic City Alliance spokesman Jeff Guaracino tells The Press of Atlantic City the group does not recommend that someone buy the free tickets, which Ticketmaster will be scanning on site.

Guaracino says people standing on the boardwalk or out on a boat will be able to hear the concerts.

The hype around the shows is a good thing for the struggling beach resort.

“Getting people talking about Atlantic City this early in the season and getting them to make plans to come to Atlantic City this early in the season is absolutely important,” Guaracino told the paper. “It’s terrific, so I’m very excited. We’re accomplishing our goal.”
