Julia Roberts & Tina Fey Joke On Air At NBC's Expense

Julia Roberts and Tina Fey are the latest celebs to chime in with their 2 cents on the latest problems at NBC.

On the official Golden Globes pre-show last night, hosted by Access Hollywood's own Billy Bush and the "Today" Show's Natalie Morales, Julia opined on the current situation at the Peacock network.

After wishing Michelle Obama a happy birthday on the air alongside friends Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, and (agent) Richard Lovett, Julia and Tom told Billy they learned the information about the First Lady's birthday from "another network." It was then that Julia brought up NBC.

"NBC, you guys are in the toilet right now," she told Billy.

"Julia Roberts! We're live on the air," Billy said.

"I'm not saying in the toilet, I'm just saying there's problems," she said smiling.

Tom then quickly chimed in making a reference to NBC's recent announcement they were going to move "The Jay Leno Show" to 11:35 PM from its primetime slot.

"NBC said it was going to rain at 10, but they moved it to 11:30," he said as the group laughed.

NBC asked Conan O'Brien recently to move "The Tonight Show" to 12:05 AM, a move the redheaded funnyman rejected. When asked by Billy about the late night monologues that have be spawned by the shakeups, Tom suggested he was enjoying them.

"Nothing wrong with that," he smiled.

"30 Rock's" Tina Fey also took a shot at her own network during the pre-show. When asked by Billy about the heavy rain, she replied, "It's not rain, it's just God crying for NBC."

And later in the night, NBC certainly wasn't safe from Globes host Ricky Gervais. In his opening monologue he chimed in with, "Let's get on with it before NBC replaces me with Jay Leno."
