"The Biggest Loser" will, it seems, be shedding a cast member.

In an official statement, former tennis star Anna Kournikova, who was hired to be the celebrity trainer for season 12 following the departure of series veteran Jillian Michaels, confirmed that she would not be back for season 13.

"I enjoyed my time on the 'Biggest Loser' ranch," said Kournikova. "Although I will not be returning as a full time trainer on season 13, I will always be a part of 'The Biggest Loser' family and my commitment to bettering lives through health and fitness will continue."

Despite rumors of backstage tension, there has been no official reason given for the decision.
