Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Rihanna's Half A Million For One Night!: Half a million dollars is not too shabby for a night's work. According to the New York Post's Page Six, Rihanna is being paid $500,000 to perform at a New Year's Eve party at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. "She was supposed to perform back in May [in Abu Dhabi], but she cancelled in the aftermath of the assault [by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown]. This is a make-up date," a source told the paper. A rep for the singer had no comment when contacted by the paper, but we're expecting any upcoming statement to start with, "Cha-Ching!"
