Blair Waldorf Goes “Bad” for New Single

The "Gossip Girl" starlet croons on the latest single from Cobra Starship

Most know Leighton Meester as the chic, monied Manhattan socialite Blair Waldorf from "Gossip Girl."

And then there's her "bad" side.

The pouty brunette shakes off her signature headband and flaunts her edgier side on the new single "Good Girls Go Bad" by electro-pop band Cobra Starship.

Leighton's singing is pitch perfect and set against a robotic and insanely catchy hook (auto-tune, anyone?). The song, produced by American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, features some tinny vocals and has moments of pure cheese but will have you loving it despite its short-comings.

Frontman Saporta told VH1 last April he was thrilled to work with the "Gossip Girl" star.

"Can you believe I get to do a song with Blair Waldorf?" Saporta gushed. "It's no secret that I am a huge 'Gossip Girl' fan."

The song's video -- shot in New York's Lower East Side -- features a party scene at an illegal casino in the basement of a deli. It's worth watching until the end not only for the pop beat, but because the video finishes with a clever twist.

Meester released the single "Birthday" last Spring.
