Polar Bear Cub Too Cute For Words

A fluffy polar bear cub called "Luna" will be the new face of the Buffalo Zoo. The New York zoo is planning a new 'Arctic Edge' exhibit for their polar bears and other arctic, sub-arctic animals. WGRZ-TV's Dooley O'Rourke reports.

When Taylor Swift was 22, she was "single and happy and carefree and confused and didn't care."

"And I'm still kind of that way," the now 23-year-old says in the April issue of Vanity Fair, albeit "dealing with a little bit of a chaotic media circus right now, but that'll die down in a few weeks when people realize there's nothing left to talk about."

Or will it? With Swift being known just as much for what appears to be a penchant for serial monogamy as she is for her platinum-selling hits, what does she have to say for herself?

Taylor Swift's double-take: No. 1 on the pop and country charts

First off, when it comes to her most recent beau, Harry Styles, Swift gave a friend license to dish on her behalf, according to the magazine.

The unnamed friend claims that the One Direction singer was after Swift for a year, he "wore her down," they "got really close"...and then he was photographed making out with another girl. (A rep for Styles told the mag this was "undeniably false.")

Then, according to Swift's pal, Styles wanted to get back together, but she didn't really trust him. They briefly started up again, but then stopped--in time for the Grammys, where Swift widely appeared to be mocking Styles' English accent during her show-opening performance of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

One Direction named worst band of the year, again

"I'm sick of the tabloids saying I obsess over guys," Swift said. "Why would you obsess over guys? They don't like it."

Vanity Fair reports that she did buy a house in Hyannis Port (which has since been sold to someone else), not far from Conor Kennedy's family home, but not because of her brief romance with the high school senior.

"People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like--that's a thing that I apparently do," Swift said. "If I like you I will apparently buy up the real-estate market just to freak you out so you leave me. Like that makes sense, like that's something you should do."

She also said, talking about how some of the media choose to interpret her music (which, she has admitted on many occasions, is almost always about boys, if not necessarily breakups): "Everybody in these tabloidy gossipy blogs, they think they have you pegged, like 'Taylor's boy-crazy'...For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her...that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexiest."

Like her music, however, Swift's storied love life is having a crossover moment, going from mere tabloid fodder to mainstream entertainment. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler certainly felt Swift's relationship track record to be culturally relevant enough to merit a jab at the Golden Globes, where Swift lost to Adele for best song from a motion picture.

Taylor Swift says her exes are free to write songs about her

"I was just sort of like, Oh well, you know, I can laugh at myself," Swift, who was supposedly in the bathroom when it was going on, said of the hosts' riff on whether or not she should go after Michael J. Fox's son or indulge in some "me" time.

"But what it ended up adding to was this whole kind of everyone jumping on the bandwagon of 'Taylor dates too much'--which, you know, if you want some big revelation, since 2010 I have dated exactly two people."

And yet, it seems like more.
