Paris Hilton's Brother Assaulted at Miami Party, Not Cooperating With Police

Barron Hilton told authorities a man struck him in the face after the two had an argument at a party Friday

The brother of socialite Paris Hilton was not cooperating with an investigation into who assaulted him at a Miami Beach party, police said Monday.

A police report said 24-year-old Barron Hilton told authorities a man struck him in the face after the two had an argument at a party Friday in a Miami Beach home. Hilton suffered deep cuts on his forehead and nose. He posted a photo of the injuries online.

"If he doesn’t speak with detectives there is nothing we can do,” said police spokesman Bobby Hernandez. " Right now we are stuck on standby mode until Mr. Hilton decides to call us.”

Hernandez said they have a generic description of the alleged suspect, but no suspect.

Neither Hilton nor two witnesses could identify the suspect. According to the report, witnesses told police that the suspect wanted Hilton to leave and hit him in the face with an unknown object. The suspect then fled in a dark green SUV.

The report says Hilton refused treatment from fire rescue workers.
