A scene from "Revolution," the series by J.J. Abrams which tells of a world 15 years after the world inexplicably suffers a power outage

NBC has announced that the original episode of "Revolution" that was scheduled to air Monday night (April 15) at 10ET/9C will air next week (Monday, April 22) at 10ET/9C and all subsequent episodes will move accordingly.

The episode, titled “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia,”  was preempted due to the network's continuing news coverage of the Boston Marathon bomb attack. The change means the new season finale date for "Revolution" will now be one week later on Monday, June 3rd.

Set in a powerless, post-apocalyptic future, "Revolution" follows the Matheson family as they struggle to survive in a world ruled by militias and warlords.
