Holy quack! The Robertsons are covering Christmas.
Not content with cornering the duck call market, being TV's biggest reality stars, publishing five books and having their own mobile game app, the "Duck Dynasty" clan now have the holidays firmly in their sights.
"Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas," was released this week and features the bearded boys from the bayou singing traditional Christmas carols and duck-themed holiday songs.
While the album may not be considered by some to be traditional holiday music - the family showcase their squawking duck calls on many of the tracks - the disc does feature some of the biggest names in country music.
George Strait joins Phil Robertson for an ode to "Christmas Cookies," while Luke Bryan, Alison Krauss and Josh Turner also make appearances on the album which is sure to be a popular down-home stocking stuffer come December.
"We're not aspiring to be country music stars," Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander and a fixture on the A&E network series, said in an interview about the album, which was produced by Nashville hitmaker Buddy Cannon.
"It is definitely from our perspective of a down-home middle-America Christmas," Robertson added. "There is some funny stuff and then there is some serious stuff."

In the zany category would be "Hairy Christmas" featuring Bryan and Willie Robertson, as well as “Ragin’ Cajun Redneck Christmas,” a new upbeat holiday ditty that Willie wrote with Dallas Davidson. More traditional fare comes in the form of "Silent Night," on which Krauss duets with teenager Sadie Robertson.
Other reworked classics on "Duck the Halls" include "Away in a Manger," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Baby It's Cold Outside" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
"Faith, family, and ducks — in that order — have always been our priorities," Willie Robertson told "Entertainment Tonight" when the idea for the album was initially floated in June. "Christmas is an important holiday for us, not only because of our strong faith, but also our holiday family traditions. We’re having a great time making this album. We hope you enjoy it."
In addition to the release of their Holiday album, the "Duck Dynasty Christmas Special" will air on A&E on Wednesday Dec. 11 at 10 p.m. ET.
