Comic-Con 2013: Saturday's Must-See Panels

Captain America, "The Simpsons," "Grimm," "Revolution" and "Godzilla" descend on San Diego

"Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier": Get a sneak peek at footage from this highly-anticipated sequel, featuring Chris Evans as the man in the stars and stripes, along with new leading lady Emily VanCamp and Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier. Evans, VanCamp and Stan are all set to attend. (6 p.m. in Hall H)

"Godzilla" and "300: Rise of an Empire": Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures preview their upcoming lineups, and let's be honest, it wouldn't be Comic-Con without at least one Godzilla. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston feature in this reboot of the classic lizard tale that's set wreak havoc in theaters come 2014.

Get set for a new chapter in the epic "300" saga, based on Frank Miller's graphic novel "Xerxes." Imagined in the same visual style as its blockbuster predecessor, there's sure to be copious amounts of blood, beards and washboard abs. (Saturday from 10.45 a.m. in Hall H)

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire": The cast of the anticipated second installment of "The Hunger Games" trilogy comes to Hall H for the first time. The panel will be moderated by Fandango chief correspondent Dave Karger and fans lucky enough to secure a spot will see never-before-seen footage of the next chapter in the saga of Katniss Everdeen. (1.35 p.m. in Hall H)

"X-Men: Days of Future Past": While no castmembers have yet to be confirmed, we're guessing loads of fan favorites will be present, given the large cast for the highly-anticipated follow-up to "First Class," including Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart and many more. (4:15 p.m. in Hall H)

"The Simpsons": Help celebrate "The Simpsons’" 25th year on the air with creator Matt Groening, executive producer Al Jean, supervising director Mike Anderson, and consulting producer David Silverman as they showcase never-before seen footage from guest director Guillermo del Toro ("Pacific Rim"). (12:45p.m. in Ballroom 20)

"Family Guy": The Griffins are back in San Diego for a sneak peek at season 12, featuring Seth Green, Alex Borstein and executive producer Rich Appel plus surprise guests. (1:45p.m. in Ballroom 20)

"The Awesomes": Hulu's "The Awesomes" is a new animated show for adults that combines the thrills of comic book storytelling with the comedy stylings of co-creators Seth Meyers ("Saturday Night Live") and Mike Shoemaker ("Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"). It is the story of the greatest superhero team in history, The Awesomes, and what happens after the most powerful members decide to leave. Join cast members Kenan Thompson ("SNL"),Taran Killam ("SNL"), Josh Meyers ("That ’70s Show") and Bobby Moynihan ("SNL") for a special Comic-Con screening. (2 p.m. in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront)

"Grimm": Join your fellow “Grimmsters” for a Q&A session with the cast members David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, Claire Coffee, and executive producers/writers Jim Kouf, David Greenwalt, Todd Milliner, and Norberto Barba. Perhaps those in attendance may get the jump on just what happened after this season's shocking cliffhanger finale on NBC. (2:40p.m. in Room 6BCF)

"Revolution": Fans will be treated to an exclusive video presentation, followed by a Q&A with series stars and producers. What's next for the hit NBC series now we know that the power going out was merely the beginning of the mystery at the center of this weekly action adventure/drama? (4:50p.m. in Room 6BCF)
