Kylie Jenner Responds to the Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge: I'm Not Encouraging Girls to “Look Like Me”

Kylie Jenner wants nothing to do with the #KylieJennerLipChallenge.

There's an unfortunate trend amongst teens right now trying to achieve the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star's perfect pout: It involves sucking on a shot glass or bottle until your blood vessels burst. Doctors don't recommend trying this disturbing DIY face modification, and neither does Jenner.

The 17-year-old addressed the unfortunate social media craze on Twitter Tuesday afternoon. "I'm not here to try & encourage people/young girls to look like me or to think this is the way they should look," she wrote. "I want to encourage people/young girls like me to be YOURSELF and not be afraid to experiment w your look."

In Jenner's case, this means laying on the lipliner–that's it. "I love lip liner and over lining my lips," she told E! News earlier this year. "But I don't even care anymore. I'm like whatever, just say whatever you want."

That hasn't stopped people from speculating over the state of Jenner's kisser, though. But as she recently pointed out to Grazia magazine, "I haven't had plastic surgery. I've never been under the knife. People flashback to pictures of me when I was 12 and say 'Kylie's so different' but how can I look the same from 12 -18?"

"I'm like, "Stop talking about my lips.'"
