Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy to Star in New, All-Women “Ghostbusters” Movie: Report

"Saturday Night Live" players Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon are also in talks to join the cast of the Paul Feig-directed reboot.

The new "Ghostbusters" reboot has got its all-women cast, and it's an awfully funny one.

Melissa McCarthy has signed on, and Sony is now in talks with Kristen Wiig and current "Saturday Night Live" players Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting.

McCarthy is already in talks for one of the lead roles, according to THR. And although the negotations are ongoing, all four "hilarious women" — their future director's words — are expected to sign on to make the film, it reported.

The new "Ghostbusters" movie is set to be directed by Paul Feig, who previously directed both McCarthy and Wiig in "Bridemaids."

Writer Katie Dippold, who worked with Feig on "The Heat" and also wrote some episodes of NBC's "Parks and Recreation," will join to write the screenplay, Feig confirmed last year.

The long-planned movie was originally supposed to be a sequel that would bring back the original "Ghostbusters" stars: Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis.

But Ramis died last year, and the original director, Ivan Reitman, ditched the project back last March. Sony picked Feig for it back in August.

The new "Ghostbusters" film won't be connected to the original series of movies.
