Kris Jenner Lands Talk Show on Fox

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" mom will test out new chatfest "Kris" this summer.

Look out, Ellen DeGeneres! Kris Jenner is becoming a talk show host.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" matriarch will host "Kris," a new daily daytime chatfest, beginning this summer, Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television announced Monday.

The one-hour pop-culture-driven talker, which will get a six-week test run on select Fox-owned stations in major markets such as New York and Los Angeles, will feature celebrity guests, as well as fashion and beauty trends. In other words, it's the kind of show where fashionable daughters Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom and Kim Kardashian will no doubt feel right at home.

"This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it's definitely a dream come true!" said Jenner, who will also serve as an executive producer on the show. "I can't wait for this new adventure to begin."

"Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted - all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host," added Stephen Brown, EVP of Development &Programming, Twentieth Television, which will produce and distribute the Jenner's show.

"Kris" becomes the latest in a series of daytime talkers that have received Fox test runs in recent years. The strategy proved successful for "The Wendy Williams Show" and "Bethenny," which have both gone on to enjoy popular syndicated runs.
