Second time’s a charm for resident rocker Kat Perkins on “The Voice,” who beat the bottom four odds once again and earned her spot in the semifinals. Artists Delvin Choice, Sisaundra Lewis and Audra McLaughlin weren’t so lucky and were eliminated.

No stranger to the last chance performance, Kat donned her typical high-energy rock star persona and sang “Barracuda,” by Heart. Her enthusiasm resonated with viewers as Twitter saved her once again, continuing to prove Coach Adam right who said she’d make to the end.

Team Blake’s Sisaundra Lewis took the stage to fight for her semifinal spot singing “You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman” by Carole King. Seeming to belt for her life, the judges were all equally perplexed as to how she could be in the bottom four this week.

“I couldn’t help but wonder why I have to see you standing there right now, “said Shakira. “In a way it’s unfair because your voice is so crazy good.”

Shakira’s last remaining artist, Kristina Merlin was the saved by voters along with Team Usher’s last standing artist, Josh Kaufman – immediately adding anxiety for Team Blake and Team Adam, knowing their teams were on the chopping block.

In perhaps a bittersweet moment, Christina Grimmie of Team Adam and Jake Worthington of Team Blake were also saved, which guaranteed that all four of the coaches have at least one artist going into the semifinals. This also guaranteed that either Kat Perkins, Sisaundra Lewis, Audra McLaughlin or Delvin Choice could be on their way home.

After Sisaundra’s performance, Blake’s female country artist Audra McLaughlin was up next and sang a sassy, attitude-filled performance of “Done,” by The Band Perry.

In his plea to save Audra, Blake called on country fans everywhere to vote. “This girl is a world-class vocalist, I want all the country fans around the world to save this girl.”

The final artist to compete for a spot in the semifinals was Team Adam’s Delvin Choice who took on Bruno Mars’ “Young Girls,” and the judges seemed dumbfounded that he was even in this desperate position to begin with.

His coach, Adam said, “Nobody in galaxies far beyond this one sound like Delvin,” explaining how unique his voice is. Shakira even admitted, “I was rooting for you the whole time.”

Along with the last chance performances, the top eight took the stage in two groups to sing together.

Audra McLaughlin, Kristen Merlin, Jake Worthington and Kat Perkins sang “Chainsaw” by The Band Perry. Sisaundra Lewis, Josh Kaufman, and Christina Grimmie sang “Latch” by Disclosure.

Next week the final five will continue to fight for the winning title on "The Voice."

The Voice airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c.
