Jared Fogle's Cameo in ‘Sharknado 3' Cut in Wake of Scandal

Less than one week before its premiere on July 22, "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No" has eliminated Jared Fogle's cameo from the film, E! News has confirmed.

Fogle's appearance in the Syfy TV movie was cut in the wake of the FBI raiding his home on Tuesday. Fogle was not arrested or charged with any crimes, but the former Subway spokesman's house was searched two months after Russell Thomas, former executive director of the Jared Foundation, was arrested on charges related to child pornography.

Fogle made a memorable cameo in "Sharknado 2: The Second One," in which he survived the shark storm that descended upon New York City and was seen waiting for the subway.

Following the raid of Fogle's home, a Subway spokesperson told E! News that the company and Fogle had "mutually agreed to suspend their relationship due to the current investigation. Jared continues to cooperate with authorities and he expects no actions to be forthcoming. Both Jared and Subway agree that this was the appropriate step to take."

Still set to make appearances in "Sharknado 3" are David Hasselhoff, Mark Cuban, Rick Fox, Chris Jericho, Michele Bachmann, Jerry Springer, Ann Coulter and Chris Kirkpatrick. Plus, Bo Derek, Ne-Yo, Frankie Muniz, Jackie Collins, and Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb will also join Ian Ziering and Tara Reid for the highly anticipated TV movie.

"Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No" premieres Wednesday, July 22 on Syfy.
