TLC ‘Not Pursuing' Reality Show With Octu-Mom Nadya Suleman

If Nadya Suleman lands a reality TV show, it won't be with the folks at TLC.

TLC, the home of such family reality shows as "Jon and Kate Plus 8" and "17 and Counting," has decided not to purse a new project with Suleman, who gave birth to octuplets in late January.

"TLC is not pursuing any program at this time with Nadya Suleman. We wish the family well," TLC President Eileen O'Neill said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

The network had previously said although they did not have direct contact with the mother of 14, some of the production companies associated with the cable channel had spoken with Suleman.

"TLC works with a number of outside production companies, and we believe a few of them have been in contact with Ms. Suleman's rep, but we at TLC have not had direct contact with her," O'Neill said at the time. "We are still watching this story evolve."

But TLC isn't the only organization who has opted not to work with Suleman.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the Ambassador Agency, a Tennessee-based public relations firm, said contrary to reports, they are not representing the woman dubbed Octu-mom.

"One week ago, a friend of our agency requested Ambassador's help to advise on the protection and licensing of the Suleman family photographs to safeguard the security of the children. While providing this pro bono advice, we explored whether agency representation would best serve the interests of this family. Ambassador has not executed a representation agreement, nor do we intend to do so," the agency's president, Wes Yoder, told Access Hollywood.

Suleman's publicist, JoAnn Killeen, recently stepped down in the wake of death threats aimed at the mom and her spokespeople.
