Roseanne Headed Back To Primetime TV?

Watch out primetime – Roseanne Barr is plotting a return!

The comedienne, who starred as the title character of ABC's long-running sitcom, is in talks to star in a new family comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

She is teaming with former "Roseanne" producer Caryn Mandabach for the sitcom, where she would once again play the show's matriarch.

The project has reportedly been pitched to FOX.

Following her work on "Roseanne," which ran from 1988 – 1997, the actress starred on her own talk show and a reality series for ABC. Since then, she has made numerous guest appearances on a variety of primetime sitcoms, including "3rd Rock from the Sun," "The Nanny" and "My Name is Earl."
