Report: ‘Lipstick Jungle' Employee Steals $30K In Designer Fashion

A stage manager on “Lipstick Jungle” allegedly made off with almost $30,000 in designer fashion from the NBC show before being arrested on Friday, CNN reported.

According to the site, Arthur Moreira was aprehended in a sting operation where officers posed as buyers of the stolen goods. He remains in custody in Brooklyn.

NBC reps had no comment when reached by Access Hollywood on Sunday.

Sixteen items were reportedly taken from the set of the show, including Gucci coats, sequined mosaic clutches and an Oscar de la Renta snakeskin bag.

The theft was noticed first, not by the show, but by employees of French designer Sylvia Toledano, who discovered several items on loan to “Lipstick Jungle” for sale on eBay.
