Michelle Obama to Assist on “Extreme Makeover”

You could call it “Extreme Makeover: First Lady Edition.”

Michelle Obama will reportedly guest star on ABC’s reality staple “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” as part of her ongoing efforts to assist military families.

The first lady will help build a new greenhouse and children’s play area for a Fayetteville, N.C. center for homeless female vets, People reported.

Obama will tape her appearance on Thursday, though the show won’t air until October, according to Reuters.

ABC News notes that Obama won’t be the first first lady to appear on “Extreme Makeover.” In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Laura Bush helped rebuild a family’s home in Biloxi, Miss.

But Michelle Obama is no stranger to the small-screen. She’s appeared on “Sesame Street,” “iCarly,” and “Iron Chef America” as well as a slew of talk shows, ABC News reported.
