David Carradine was wearing fishnet stockings and a dark wig when his body was found hanging in a Bangkok hotel room, according to reports.

Grainy images printed in the tabloid Thai Rath reportedly show the "Kung Fu" actor suspended from a clothing bar in a closet. Red women's lingerie appears to be on the bed adjacent to his body, according to ABCNews.com.

The 72-year-old actor was found with his hands bound above his head and a rope around his neck, wrists and genitals. His remains were to arrive in Los Angeles this week, ABCNews.com reported.

The sordid details of the "Kill Bill" star's sexual life began to surface as the photos generated more questions about the actor's mysterious death.

Ex-wife Marina Anderson claimed in 2003 court papers that Carradine practices "deviant sexual behavior which was potentially deadly" and had an "incestuous relationship with a very close family member," according to the Smoking Gun.

His third wife Gail Jensen told gossip website Radaronline.com he often tied himself up to "relax."

"He had his kinky moments," she said.

Carradine was a regular at the Los Angeles sex shop Susie's Delight where he currently has items on backorder, the store's owner told the New York Post.

"He was quite knowledgeable" about sex toys, owner Shoshana Arazy told the paper. "He would ask a lot of questions and I would do my best to educate him further in whatever he was interested in.  ... He also had items on back order which unfortunately he will never be able to pick up."

The family said it was "profoundly disturbed" by the publication of the photos allegedly showing Carradine hanging in his hotel room and threatened legal action early this week.

Cops in Thailand have ruled the actor's death on June 3 a "sex accident," the result of auto-erotic asphyxia gone awry but a family attorney speaking on behalf of the Carradines said they believe David may have been killed by an underground kung fu sect -- not by a sadomasochistic act.
